USDC reaches record capitalization of $60 billion

On March 26, the total market value of the USDC stablecoin surpassed $60 billion, setting a new all-time high (ATH). At the time of writing, the asset’s supply stands at $60.2 billion — a 100% increase compared to March last year, when it was $30 billion.The total market capitalization of the stablecoin sector also reached a record high — over $238 billion. USDC remains the second most popular asset after Tether’s USDT, which currently has a market cap of $144 billion.Approximately $39 billion worth of USDC is hosted on the Ethereum network. Solana ranks second with $9.5 billion. The remaining supply is distributed across Base ($3.7 billion), Hyperliquid ($2.2 billion), Arbitrum ($1.8 billion), and Berachain ($1 billion).As of March 24, about 80% of all stablecoins circulating on the Solana network were USDC.
